I agree with this statement. Sometimes you know you can't win but it is better to do the right thing in those situations. We need to follow Lincoln's example as he always did the right thing. This is why he became president, because he had the morals to be one. Not like some president we have today. Anyways yeah, sometimes expect to not necessarily win, but to do the right thing. Whenever you see that you can do the right thing, do it. In conclusion I think you are bound to be true if you don't win or you should be true.

I agree with this quote, but once again like alot of times, I don't agree with the examples Mr. Gave us. He contradicted himself by saying that Character matters most, and then saying that above character was talent. It was obvious as it seemed like he was trying to hide that but it was right on the screen. But I do agree that character is above intellect. Of course you can't get in a high place in the world without Intellect either. You need both intellect and character to become someone in society. But I do agree that character can sometimes be above character in terms of importance, but you need both, not only one.

Of course, you can't trust if you don't put in hardwork. This is why you should alos work hard for what you want. If you work hard and trust in yourself and your work it will surely pay off. Everyone should believe in themselves and work like Tyler Haws. He is an example to follow. This is in my opinion though, so maybe others do not agree with me.

I agree with this quote as I do think that when someone doesn't do wrong, he will be in less trouble and have more freedom. If you follow what you're supposed to do you won't be limited. Limited by being grounded or by consequences of your actions. But if you do what you're supposed to, people will trust you more and give you more freedom. They will also trust you to be independent. But for all of this you need to do what's right. Then again this is what I think and somebody else might not agree with it. But in my opinion you do get more freedom and become more independent by doing what is right.

I don't agree with this as the word great means of above ability. Not because you are good means that you are truly "great". When you are great that means that you can do something better than average. Technically those who are good aren't better than average. Its is an expectation people are supposed to have. So I don't really agree with this statement as it is not technically great. Sure you can be a better person but you are not becoming better at anything else. Then again this is also my opinion so some people may not agree with me. In conclusion IN MY OPINION being good doesn't neccesarily make you great as it is not something you are really "great" at.
