S.S.S.

"Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain ,but it isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it."
 - George Mitchell

I don't think is not necessarily true, but sometimes it does happen. I just don't agree with the dumb examples that Mr. uses. Nobody really cares about cheating in one test after a year passes. You forget about it. It is a dumb way to teach us this in my opinion. But yes, when doing something bad short term gain might not be worth the long term pain. Apart from this, I don't understand why he uses the steroid part. I guess it gives some context but, this isn't a sports class or P.E. I honestly don't care about that part of the quote. It is something obvious that nobody should do, and I guess its not necessarily bad, but he has been talking about steroids and performance enhancing drugs everyday for like, 2 weeks now. I just don't see the need to keep talking about it, but I guess its his class. Anyways, sure short term gain can sometimes not be worth the long term pain.
