I don't think is not necessarily true, but sometimes it does happen. I just don't agree with the dumb examples that Mr. uses. Nobody really cares about cheating in one test after a year passes. You forget about it. It is a dumb way to teach us this in my opinion. But yes, when doing something bad short term gain might not be worth the long term pain. Apart from this, I don't understand why he uses the steroid part. I guess it gives some context but, this isn't a sports class or P.E. I honestly don't care about that part of the quote. It is something obvious that nobody should do, and I guess its not necessarily bad, but he has been talking about steroids and performance enhancing drugs everyday for like, 2 weeks now. I just don't see the need to keep talking about it, but I guess its his class. Anyways, sure short term gain can sometimes not be worth the long term pain.
