I would also prefer this as it, in my opinion, makes you a more respectable human being. It is more respectable to fail with honor than cheating to win. Apart from this, it is not the same sensation that you get from it. Winning with honor feels like you accomplished something and you feel proud of yourself. If you win by cheating, you can't really be proud of yourself for breaking the rules without anyone knowing. It is not anything commendable or anything that you should be proud of. It is not worth cheating and it is better to lose honorably that winning by cheating.
